This week in the Modern Quilt Block Series we are sewing up the Centered block. This block uses simple shapes for graphic outcomes. Follow along as I continue designing and sharing a new block pattern each week!
Centered
Don’t stress out over the small pieces – it’s still simple to sew! And I love the use of negative space in the block. Double-check your 1/4″ seam allowance, before you get started for the best results with this block. Creating interest without overwhelm is always welcome in our quilting projects!
Take a few minutes to watch the video for my simple construction tips, and step-by-step instructions for making this unique block. And the layout options are so fun! Even on its own, this block makes some great quilt tops, and I can’t wait to see more of them in fabric!
This week the Centered block is free, next week it will be available for purchase in my shop.
