This week in the Modern Quilt Block Series we are sewing up the Dash block. Adding movement with simple shapes is a lot of fun! As we near the end of the new blocks, I encourage you to pull out the patterns you’ve collected. I can’t wait to see what you create!

Simple fabric selections, makes for fun movement in the quilt top! Making this block is straightforward and fun and the layout ideas have me excited to sew another project. I’m really excited about the scrappy quilt possibilities with this block and the movement that it will bring to any project you add it to.
There are so many fun ways to put this block into a quilt top, I hope you like the layout ideas as much as I do! Simple quilts made with love are always beautiful – keep making and enjoy the process.
