The new block this week in the Modern Quilt Block Series is called Quartet! It’s a simple nine-patch with a couple of four-patch units in the block.

This two color block has a lot of fun options when made in multiples, or combined with other blocks. Check out the video for strip-piecing tips, and layout options.
Once again the nine-patch block construction allows for lots of mixing and matching with other blocks. I can’t wait to see your Quartet blocks!
