This week in the Modern Quilt Block Series we are sewing up the Tangle block. This block includes a partial seam and strip piecing. Follow along as I continue designing and sharing a new block pattern each week!
Tangle
Don’t let that partial seam slow you down! It’s really simple, and eliminates extra seams (and fabric!) in your blocks. Once you make a partial seam, you’ll see just how simple they are. And if you ever forget and sew the entire seam, picking out a few stitches is an easy fix to get you back on track!
Take a few minutes to watch the video for my simple construction tips, and step-by-step instructions for making this unique block. And the layout options are so fun! Even on its own, this block makes some great quilt tops, and I can’t wait to see more of them in fabric!
