This week in the Modern Quilt Block Series we are sewing up the Tip Top block. Oversized half-square triangle units create this striking block. Follow along as I continue designing and sharing a new block pattern each week!
Tip Top
Don’t worry about cutting the right angles, we are keeping the construction for this block super simple! Using tried and true methods this block comes together quickly and easily. I had delayed releasing this block a bit, because I didn’t want anyone to be overwhelmed with the angles, I hope you will give it a try!
In the video I walk you through the simple construction of this block, and add my tips for dealing with large half-square triangle units.
