This week in the Modern Quilt Block Series we are sewing up the Tile block. Keeping the block square as you sew is the biggest challenge when working on this block design. Follow along as I continue designing and sharing a new block pattern each week!
Tile
This block is simple to sew, but does need a little extra focus to keep things centered. However, I also find making this block to be very centering. Pull some scraps, and take a few minutes to watch the video now, and see how quickly this fun block goes together.
In the video I walk you through the simple construction of this block, and give insight into how I keep my block square as I sew. These easy blocks are sometime misleading in how simple they are – I hope you will watch through for my tips!
