I am so ready to start sewing the Tipsy Triangle quilt! I hope you are healthy, excited and ready to cut out this project with me. This week is all about cutting so that we can spend the next few weeks sewing. ALL the schools are closed and extracurricular activities have been canceled for the next two weeks here in Utah, so my daily routines are shifting dramatically. Is it the same where you are?

Cutting Tips

In the video I’m cutting my four+ yards of background fabric in about 30 minutes. And sharing my tips as I cut!

The Tipsy Triangle pattern includes four sizes, from baby to queen. It’s a great introduction to improv piecing, and really scrap friendly! If improv makes you nervous, be sure to stick with me all month long. I’m sharing videos about my process, and favorite tools while I stitch.

You can start the quilt-along anytime, I will send you information about getting started and where to find all the video instruction that you will need to begin.

RSVP to the Tipsy Triangle Quilt-Along here

This quilt-along is perfect for beginner quilters, and more experienced quilters looking to explore improv without overwhelm. It’s really a fun pattern to sew up and I hope that you’ll join me!

I love the texture of the background fabric you’re using in the Tipsy Triangles Quilt Along. What is it?
