This week we are cutting our fat quarters for the Modern Patchwork Quilt-Along. Have you pressed your fat quarters?

If you are a new quilter or need a confidence boost in your quilting studio, be sure to start with the baby or throw size quilt. There is nothing like fabric overwhelm to halt a project before it even begins!

This week the video is focused on cutting the fat quarters. Making you the most accurate and efficient while at the cutting mat. And keeping your pieces organized as you cut.

In the video, I’ve included tips for using multiple rulers, my must-have ruler if you just want or have one. And how to cut a couple of fat quarters at once. Along with tips for when the fat quarter isn’t as big you were hoping.
